The San Francisco Symphony Chorus and Chorus Director Jenny Wong perform Carl Orff's Carmina burana in Wilhelm Killmayer's arrangement for two pianos and percussion. Based on medieval German poetry, the piece is well known for its iconic opening O Fortuna, which has become a pop culture phenomenon. The San Francisco Symphony orchestra does not appear in this performance.
