Angry Black Woman 101 is a solo show written and performed by Kathryn Seabron, directed by Lynn Vidal, and produced in association with the Bay Area Women’s Theatre Festival. This poignant piece draws from Seabron's personal experiences to examine microaggressions, systemic misogyny, and the often-overlooked challenges faced by Black women in various contexts. Through a mix of storytelling, vignettes, and multimedia, the performance confronts the complexities surrounding race and gender, particularly highlighting the implications of White women's tears as a tool of silencing. The show runs from April 26 to May 17, 2025, at The Marsh Berkeley.
