After a successful screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Grease, Town Hall Theater Company is back at it again. This time, THT will be screening a sing-along version of Mamma Mia on Friday September 8th.

Rossini's rollicking The Barber of Seville will return to Opera San José this fall, offering an upbeat comedy for operagoers of all ages. Subtitled “The Useless Precaution,” this opera buffa introduces the rapscallion barber Figaro, who uses all his wiles to assist the love-struck Count Almaviva in liberating his true love Rosina from the clutches of her guardian, Dr. Bartolo.

Giovanna Sardelli Confirmed As Artistic Director Of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced that Giovanna Sardelli will serve as the company's Artistic Director. Sardelli assumed the role on an interim basis earlier this month, following the departure of former Artistic Director Tim Bond who left to take the reins at Oregon Shakespeare Festival. TheatreWorks' Board of Trustees has now made a formal offer to Sardelli to become Artistic Director, which she accepted. She remains at the helm of TheatreWorks in partnership with Executive Director Debbie Chinn.
