Returning to The Marsh after her hit run of Acid Test: The Many Incarnations of Ram Dass, Kaufman's new drama re-envisions the relationship between two men who changed the way people think. Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky's groundbreaking research on how people make decisions won the brilliant Israeli psychologists a Nobel Prize and a McArthur Genius Award. The pair was intellectually so aligned they could finish each other's sentences, but emotionally their differences tore them apart. Two Minds weaves together the story of their unique partnership as well as their troubled friendship.

Theater of Others is producing their tenth show, William Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well, March 23-April 8 at the Kelly Cullen Community Auditorium in San Francisco. This rarely seen late masterpiece will receive a full production, set in the French Second Empire, with music of the Romantic period. Director Glenn Havlan will play it close to the archetypal folk tales that were Shakespeare's sources and inspirations.
The Music of Philip Glass Engages Playwrights To Write Ten-Minute Musicals

On Monday evening, March 19, PlayGround concludes its 24th season of Monday Night PlayGround with a special "Musical Theatre Night," inspired by and featuring the music of Philip Glass. The playwrights have just four-and-a-half days to generate their original short musicals and plays with music set to Philip Glass' String Quartets Nos 2-5 (as recorded by San Francisco's own Kronos Quartet in the 1995 recording "Kronos Quartet performs Philip Glass"). The top six will be matched up with leading directors and actors and presented as script-in-hand staged readings at Berkeley Repertory Theatre on March 19 at 8pm. Los Angeles writers will have their work on the same topic presented at L.A.'s Zephyr Theatre on March 12. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon (Daren A.C. Carollo and Daniel Thomas, Co-Executive Directors), currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary in continuous operation, has announced the full cast and creative team for the penultimate production of the 2017-2018 season: The Bay Area premiere of Stephen Sondheim's Saturday Night. Based on the play Front Porch in Flatbush by Julius J. Epstein and Philip G. Epstein, Saturday Night features a book by the Epstein brothers with music and lyrics by Sondheim. Saturday Night runs from March 28 - April 15, 2018 and will perform at the Gateway Theatre (formerly the Eureka Theatre). The press opening will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets range from $25 - $76 and can be purchased through the Box Office at (415) 255-8207 or online at www.42ndstmoon.org.   42nd Street Moon's production of Saturday Night will be directed by Ryan Weible and choreographed by Allison Paraiso-Silicani, with Music Direction by Daniel Thomas.
