A Dream Before Summer at Wilson Performing Arts Center

Cinballera Entertainment concludes its second season with a captivating collage of music, dance, fairytale, and fantasy! Blending love and heartbreak with fable and fancy, "A Dream Before Summer" takes the audience on a whimsical journey from the wooded island of a child’s imagination to the haunted forest of grown men’s demise!

The journey starts with John Nettles’s original children’s ballet "Wild Things," co-choreographed by Rebekah Brannan to his choral tone poem. Then, we travel to Germany’s Black Forest with Giacomo Puccini’s first opera, "Le Villi," a rarely performed masterpiece with interwoven ballet.

Presented in collaboration with the City Ballet Orchestra and Pacific Coast Chorale, this season finale is a magical adventure for the whole family unlike anything you’ve ever seen before!
