From the imagination of Tyler Tafolla, comes a wildly theatrical, hilarious and innovative musical fairytale.

Set on the Great Plains of America in the year 1935, a young street kid named Scott Robbins will turn his life around as he joins a traveling circus by passing himself off as a world famous magician. Antics ensue as he tries to not get caught while also discovering romance, family and something bigger than himself.  

Come witness this cast of eight portray more than 100 unforgettable characters and use their enormous imaginations to create literal magic on stage! Don't miss this epic story come to life onstage and experience this once in a lifetime adventure under the big top!

Tyler is so happy to return to the Traveling Show! Tyler holds a BFA in Music Theatre from AMDA Los Angeles where he wrote and produced the original college workshop of "Scott Robbins" as a part of AMDA's Artist Lab: Student Vision. It was the first full length original musical ever produced at AMDA. That same summer, the show was performed at the New York Theatre Festival: Summerfest, where it was Nominated for Best Musical and Best Score. The show has had multiple performances in New York, Los Angeles, Thousand Oaks and San Diego, where he Directed and performed in many of those productions. A Musical Podcast Version of the show is also streaming now on Spotify. Tyler is also the creator and composer of "Seasons." A New Musical Song-Cycle that premiered this year in January at 54 Below in New York City. The Seasons Concept Album is currently streaming on all music platforms, courtesy of Broadway Records. Other credits from Tyler include his One Man Show called "Catching Up" at Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles, Cirque Electrique with WORLD Entertainment, and as a current Performer Host at Sesame Place San Diego. Kelly Prendergast is thrilled to join the Circus! Most recent credits: (Swing) for Cabaret at Cygnet Theatre, (Swing/Understudy) for Eighty-Sixed the Musical at Diversionary Theatre, (Swing/Understudy) for Ride The Cyclone at McCarter Theatre Center, (Swing/Jenna Understudy) on the National Tour of Waitress. Jordan Brownlee

Jordan Brownlee (he/him/his) is a puppeteer, writer, director and producer from San Diego, CA. His puppeteer training with The Jim Henson Company and Sesame Workshop led him to work on music videos for Google/Disney, PBS and Coldplay. Jordan puppeteered on the Apple TV+ series, Slumberkins, and the upcoming Disney+ series, The Muppets Mayhem. In 2021, Jordan made his Off-Broadway debut in Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas as Doc Bullfrog/Chuck Stoat/Tiny Squirrel. Jordan currently serves as the puppet master/instructor for Bike City Theatre Company, and has written, produced and co-directed work across stage and screen with them since 2019. He is an award-winning impressionist who has lent his voice to several short films, award ceremonies, and The Empty Iris on Amazon Prime Video and YouTube. Cameron Blankenship

Cameron hails from Ohio but has been working most recently in San Diego for SeaWorld and rocking the Elmo costume at Sesame Place in multiple shows such as Countdown to Halloween, the Sea Lion & Otter Spotlight, and Welcome to Our Street. Cam has also worked throughout New York City, New Jersey, and regionally with companies such as Mile Square Theatre, The Lyric Repertory Company, The Zoot Theatre Company, The Peterborough Players, and King’s Island Entertainment. New York City: Lightbulb with the Venus/Adonis Theater Festival, Heaven Is A Beer Commercial for Manhattan Repertory’s One Act Festival. Regional: Bunnicula, Rikki Tikki Tavi, Shakespeare Abridged, Big River, The Foreigner, Baskerville, Singin’ in the Rain, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Tempest, Faustus, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Little Women. When not performing, Cameron can be found backstage programming lighting consoles or at home playing way too many video games. Cameron holds a BFA in Acting from Wright State University and is thrilled to be working with such an amazing and talented group of people!

Anna Duchi

Anna Duchi (Penelope/ Max/ Showgirl) has a degree from Humboldt State University in Theatre Arts and Dance, and has been in theater since she was 8 years old. Some of her favorite roles include Inga (Young Frankenstein) and Kate (Kiss Me, Kate). She is a performer at SeaWorld San Diego and Legoland California. She is also currently Co-Director of the Youth Outreach program at Oceanside Theatre Company. Anna is honored to be a part of this wonderful and talented cast.
