Shakespeare comedies are at their best when they embrace the most silly side, and the Old Globe's Globe For All production of Twelfth Night takes that premise and runs with it in a delightfully entertaining way.

Photo Flash: FLY BY NIGHT Opens Tomorrow at Coronado Playhouse
by BWW News Desk - November 09, 2017
Coronado Playhouse concludes its 2017 Season with Fly By Night, opening Friday, November 10th and running until Sunday, December 10th, 2017 at Coronado Playhouse. San Diego's favorite Theatre Photographer paid the Playhouse a visit and captured some beautiful moments from the production which opens this weekend. With a non-traditional, charming and catchy score by Will Connolly and Michael Mitnick, this darkly comic rock-fable, portrays a melancholy sandwich maker's humdrum life and how it is intersected by two entrancing sisters, weaving into its overlapping love stories a resonating message about how the 'invisible universe' connects us all. A sweeping ode to young love set against the backdrop of the northeast blackout of 1965, Fly By Night is an original and enchanting tale about making your way and discovering hope in a world beset by darkness.

Well, the other five musicians in the Crosscurrents band are from India, and some of them are far better known in San Diego's Indian community, not to mention India itself, than either Potter or Holland.
