The Fighting Quaker is a production celebrating America's 250th Anniversary that tells the story of unsung American hero Timothy Matlack, played by Christopher Hoffmann, as he balances hand-inscribing the Declaration of Independence with his faith as a Quaker. Along his journey, Matlack forms a bond with Minister Richard Allen, played by Marcos James, a great orator who becomes a source of inspiration in challenging certain principles of traditional Quaker Society. The production is produced by Suzanne Matlack Delaurentiis, a descendant of Timothy Matlack, and directed by Bryan Rasmussen. The cast also includes Harry Murphy as Ben Franklin and Christopher Dukes as Jefferson.
