Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack, NY presents POTUS, Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, written by Selina Fillinger, onstage from March 14 through April 5. To hell with the Chief! Hail to the women in his administration! Praised by Variety as a “…delicious feminist farce [that is] irresistibly funny,” POTUS is a no-holds-barred raucous romp through the corridors of power. POTUS is directed at Elmwood by Claudia Stefany and stars Amanda Bloom, Miran Robarts, Meg Sewell, Leslie F. Smithey, Madison Landau, Tonette Smith, and Dana Duff as the fierce and funny women who try to control the chaos. POTUS opens March 14 and closes April 5, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm, with a captioned performance on Thursday April 3 at 8 pm. Throughout the run of the show, Elmwood's lobby gallery features Nyack Art Collective's exhibit, "Glass Ceiling Breakers."
