Seagulls is a Regional Premiere musical with book, music, and lyrics by Beth Hyland, reimagining Chekhov's The Seagull as four college musicians caught in two love triangles with one industry predator, performing songs live on stage. The show explores ambition, desire, and the damage done to young women who want things in a world not built to protect them. The production will be directed by the show's original director, Rebecca Willingham. Seagulls was previously produced at The Sound at Steppenwolf LookOut, Octagon Bolton, and Oak Park Festival Theatre in Chicago.
