Love! Valour! Compassion! is a play by Terrence McNally, directed by David Allen Jeffrey, and winner of the 1995 Tony Award for Best Play. The story centers on eight gay men who gather at the upstate New York home of celebrated dancer and choreographer Gregory Mitchell over three holiday weekends. As infidelity, AIDS, romance, and death infiltrate their friendship group, the men confront their lives, relationships, and what matters most in a moving and humorous exploration of love and loss in 1990s America.
