All Shook Up at The Community Players

The Community Players round out their 98th season with All Shook Up, a rocking musical inspired by and featuring the hits of Elvis Presley. Its 1955, and a small Midwestern town is thrown into a frenzy with the arrival of Chad, a handsome motorcycle-riding roustabout who rides from town to town with a guitar on his back,blue suede shoes on his feet, and a song in his heart. Repressed by their conservative mayor who has outlawed fun, the town begins to come alive once more under Chads influence. Lovers meet, woo, pursue and more, all in one zany night that will change the town forever. Directed by Sandy Cerel, with Musical Direction by Ron Procopio and Choreography by Julia Gillis, youll be rocking in your seat to tunes like Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog, Devil in Disguise and more!Performances are May 10-12 and 17-19Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, with Sunday matinees at 2:00. Audiences attending opening night May 10th will be entered into a drawing for a special prize! Tickets are $23 general admission and $18 for students with ID.
