REBECCA KAPLAN: HOW TO ACT NORMAL at Kismet Improv
Dates: 9/19/2026
📍 Theatre: Kismet Improv
1005 Main St Suite 2205
Pawtucket, RI 02860
Tickets: $20–$25 — Tickets are $20 online in advance and $25 at the door
Rebecca Kaplan talks about autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and her lifelong struggle to adapt, including following advice from friends, female pickup artists, and at one point literally googling “how to act normal” and landing on the pinnacle of the ‘00s internet: WikiHow.
The show will touch on a childhood of undiagnosed ASD and how it’s affected Kaplan's love, work, friendships, and of course, sex. This show will be extremely relatable to anyone who’s ever felt a little bit socially awkward, whether you have ASD or not (or if you’re still searching for that elusive diagnosis).
Rebecca Kaplan is an adorably awkward standup comedian. She's appeared on the Letterman Show, SiriusXM, NPR, and the front page of WorldStarHipHop
