Theatrical Presentations at FRENZY FEST 2024… a festival to celebrate mental health IN THE THEATER

Continuing with the tradition of Frenzy Fest, in addition to the online short films, Frenzy Fest will have in-person theatrical presentations with a psychological focus and mental health at the theater of El Barrio's Artspace PS109 starting on May 17.

Additionally, this year Frenzy Fest will have a grand opening night on Friday, February 17 when the film "Five Session: by Jaime Estades will be presented. There will be a Q & A conversation after the film between the audience, Mr. Jaime Estades and students of Columbia University. School of Social Work. The renowned adjunct professor at Columbia University, Jaime Estades, invites the community to see the film of his work, Five Session.

The festival has four plays and each one will have two presentations. All plays promote multicultural dialogue and tolerance towards community members who experience mental disorders such as: agitation, delirium, rage, hysteria and insanity resulting from a psychotic condition, as a result of drug or alcohol abuse, or like an episode of casual frenzy, which anyone at an extreme moment can experience.

Don't miss a single one... You can purchase tickets at the theater entrance (Black Box Theater at El Barrio's Artspace PS 109) from May 17 to 24 or in advance with a better price through Eventbrite. (https://www.eventbrite.com/manage/events/876866329797)
