JVS Project Space & Fancy Vamp present the inaugural edition of ¡Bótate! East Harlem Latinx Performance Festival, which will take place at JVS Project Space (181 E. 108th St., nr. Third Ave.) on July 31st and August 1st. Curated by playwright, director, and performer Fernando Vieira, ¡Bótate! is a celebration of New York City's thriving Latinx cultural heritage.
The festival will consist of live theater, poetry, dance and singing performances by local artists:
Jorge Luis Berrios, Regina Carregha, Daniel Colón, Nelson Diaz-Marcano, Yaissa Jiménez, Janelle Lawrence, Anthony O'Connell, Ashley Marie Ortiz, Juan Ramirez Jr., and Fernando Vieira.
