Downcast by the sudden death of her beloved husband, Dolly hopes to seek to bring joy to the lives of others all the while hoping for some happiness of her own. Dolly has been played by some of Broadway’s best leading ladies including Carol Channing, Bette Midler, and Barbra Streisand.
