Private Lives the Musical at Fountain Hills Theater

Fountain Hills Theater presents Private Lives the Musical. In this World Premier musical adaptation of the famous Noel Coward comedy, Elyot and Amanda, once married and now honeymooning with new spouses at the same hotel, meet by chance - reigniting the old spark.  After days of being reunited, they again find their romance alternating between bouts of love and anger.

Music by Jay Melberg. “Approaching a comedy classic, or as Coward called it, an intimate comedy, is daunting at best.  Then add to that the fact that Noel Coward was a world-class lyricist and I not entirely sure where we get the chutzpah to take this on, but here we are,” says author Peter J. Hill. “Jay and I have done our best to stay true to the play and honor Coward’s lyric style as well.”
