Beethoven's piano piece, "Fur Elise" ("For Elise") is played by intermediate piano students around the world. Only, who was Elise? Was she a love interest of Beethoven's? Or perhaps a student? Maybe...both?
No one knows for certain. Our play explores the mystery while drawing a picture of musical life in 1810 Vienna and celebrating the creation of a famous musical work.
