In a brightly lit yoga studio filled with mirrors, sweat, and silent comparison, one man lays down his mat and tries to become someone new. What begins as a quest for flexibility and self-improvement quickly spirals into a wildly honest reckoning with body image, desire, shame, ambition, and the exhausting performance of being “acceptable.”
Moving through yoga poses, memories, fantasies, and sudden emotional detours, he chases enlightenment, lusts after strangers in lime-green shorts, argues with his own reflection, and discovers that food, humor, and self-deprecation have long been his survival tools. Beneath the absurdity and laughter lives a deeper story about masculinity, queerness, trauma, and the cost of making oneself small to belong.
By the end of class, the mat has become a confessional, a battleground, and a place of transformation. This deeply human and sharply funny solo performance invites audiences to laugh, wince, and ultimately recognize a familiar struggle…
