Hasamelis is a new kind of site-specific performance where audiences will be led through the Department of Classified Technology and Research (or DOCTAR) to see the first human trials of department's latest military-grade technology: Hasamelis. As the eighth iteration of this project, Hasamelis has the ability to turn a human invisible, essentially making a person become a ghost.

A performance of Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead will take place April 3rd & 4th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Phoenix Center for the Arts, Third Street Theater. The award winning play is written by Bert Royal and directed by Jesus Alvarez a student at Arizona State University, Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. This production of Dog Sees God is Alvarez's senior capstone project, which he intends to grasp the reality of what it takes to produce and direct a play.

Theatre Artists Studio, which has had its share of theatrical wins this year, has not fared well in resurrecting it to the fiery psychological drama and social critique that the promos have proclaimed it to be.

April is Jazz Appreciation month and in recognition, the Nash announces a new series of classes for the public to learn about the history of jazz by examining the great masters. This four-part series will be led by ASU jazz instructor, Dr. Jeffry Libman, who will present four weekly Wednesday morning sessions in April each focusing on a different jazz instrument and its master musicians and vocalists. Dr. Libman will lead the discussions with histories and recordings from the great masters such as John Coltrane, Dizzie Gillespie, Thelonious Monk and Billie Holiday.
