Matilda Jr. is a comedic children's musical directed and choreographed by Midge McClosky, telling the story of a girl with astonishing wit, intelligence, and special powers who inspires her fellow students to stand up against cruel adults. Cara Heffernan stars as Matilda Wormwood, with Madison Verderosa as Agatha Trunchbull, Isabella Long as Miss Honey, Parker Krupski as Mr. Wormwood, and Alexis Rodriguez as Mrs. Wormwood, among others. Packed with electrifying dance numbers and catchy songs, the show follows Matilda as she navigates neglectful parents and the abhorrent headmistress Miss Trunchbull while finding an ally in the loveable Miss Honey. The production is produced by Charlie and Ginny Kirkwood and features a large ensemble cast of young performers from The Poconos and surrounding areas.
