SPARKLE will be released in theaters on August 17th by Sony Pictures, starring Broadway veteran Jordin Sparks, Derek Luke, Mike Epps, Carmen ejogo, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick, Cee-Lo Green, and the now late Whitney Houston. SPARKLE is set to be released in theaters on August 24th by Sony Pictures. The project marks the final film by the late, legendary singer and actress Whitney Houston. Houston died in February in her hotel room in Beverly Hills. Her death was ruled an accidental drowning. A trailer for the film debuted on this morning's TODAY show.
