Waitress is directed by Cape Playhouse Artistic Director Eric Rosen and will feature Broadway stars Stephanie Torns (who has led several companies of the show), Caitlin Houlahan, Soara Joye-Ross,  and John Riddle. This afternoon, the company of Waitress on Broadway gathered on the stage of Broadway’s Barrymore Theatre to commemorate a Mayoral Proclamation declaring Friday, September 17, “Nick Cordero Day” in New York City. 

After a year and a half without Broadway, Waitress fans will get a rare chance to revisit their favorite musical- they'll just have to travel across the street for it. A limited engagement begins performances at The Ethel Barrymore Theatre on September 2, where it will run through January 9, 2022.

The world premiere musical THE VISITOR was originally scheduled to open at The Public Theater tonight, April 15. In honor of Opening Night, The Public has just released a music video of David Hyde Pierce (Walter), Ari'el Stachel (Tarek), and the cast of THE VISITOR performing the song 'Heart In Your Hands.'

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that Wicked recently celebrated 15 years on Broadway! To celebrate, Broadway Sessions offered up our 4th annual "ElphaBall. Former "Green Girls" Alyssa Fox, Stephanie Torns and Maddy Trumble came to perform songs that reflected their time and experiences as well as themes relating to Wicked. We also welcomed four incredible "Rising Stars" to channel their inner Elphabas, and boy, did they deliver. Enjoy Elora Von Rosch, Bridget Hughes, Victoria Scovens and Persard Owens. What a ball it was!

The producers of the Broadway hit Waitress announced today that for the third year running they will be supporting the Susan G. Komen Greater NYC during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this October.  

Tickets go on sale to the general public today at 10 AM EST for Sara Bareilles's return engagement in the Broadway smash, Waitress. For the first two weeks of her return engagement, the multiplatinum-selling singer-songwriter and New York Times bestselling author will play the titular pie-maker opposite Jason Mraz as Dr. Pomatter.
