'We get to hold a mirror up to the audience and they get to see themselves onstage in such a real way,' explained Sidney. 'Although it's set in 1863, I think it has such relevance today.'
Paradise Square officially resumed performances last night, April 19, after briefly going dark due to COVID cases within the cast. Joaquina Kalukango gave a speech after last night's performance, where she talked about being grateful to be back on stage.

Paradise Square began its pre-Broadway engagement on November 2, at Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theatre (24 West Randolph Street). The production will conclude it's run later this week on December 5th. Check out all new video of in action!
