Julia Elizabeth Wells was born on October 1, 1935, in England. Her mother, Barbara Ward (Morris), and stepfather, both vaudeville performers, discovered her four-octave singing voice and immediately started her singing career, performing in music halls throughout her childhood and teens. At age 20, her stage career began in a London Palladium production of Cinderella.

It's Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as the popular family musical 'MARY POPPINS' flies onto the stage at Theatre in the Park (TTIP) Friday July 29 through Sunday, July 31, and continuing into the following week on Wednesday, Aug. 3 through Saturday, Aug. 6. Curtain time is 8:30 p.m. with the outdoor amphitheater opening for seating at 6:30 p.m. 'MARY POPPINS' is rated G and is the final musical production in TTIP's 47th summer season.
