Tony Award winner Billy Porter stars opposite stage and screen star Wayne Brady in the New York City Center Encores! production of La Cage Aux Folles. Set to open on June 17, this final production of this Encores! season will run for 15 performances through June 28. The Life, directed and adapted by Billy Porter, is getting ready to begin performances at City Center Encores! this week. The production stars Jelani Alladin as Lou, Alexandra Grey as Queen, Antwayn Hopper as Memphis, Grammy nominee Mykal Kilgore as Young JoJo, Grammy Award winner Ledisi as Sonja, Erika Olson as Mary, Destan Owens as Old Jojo, and Ken Robinson as Fleetwood. Performances run March 16-20, 2022.

Once again Grammy award-nominated and Tony Honoree Michael McElroy has completed his inspired arrangement with orchestrations in collaboration with Isaac Harlan, and videography by Nate Wind. With music and lyrics by the British team of Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy, this most recent BOW from BIV demonstrates how wonderful “Play” is. Introduced by co-composer Kennedy, this arrangement by Grammy award-nominated and Tony Honoree Michael McElroy with Co- orchestration by Isaac Harlan has transformed the song into an entirely new listening experience. As videographer Nate Wind lets the viewer sneak in between BIV members playfully interacting with each other, the performance commences in a groovy “Heigh Ho Jam”. Celebrating 25 years as a choir in service to the Broadway community and beyond, BIV revels in the joy that comes from playing well with others, and looking at life through the eyes of a child. Fundraising records and gender norms alike were smashed by stars of stage, screen and pop music on April 2, 2018, at this year's inclusive, dynamic and loving Broadway Backwards.

Broadway Backwards (#BroadwayBackwards) took the stage last night, April 2, 2018, at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, NYC), currently home to the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Kinky Boots. The evening was produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefits Broadway Cares and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. 

The cast recording of the recent, highly acclaimed, sold-out Broadway revival of Sunday in the Park with George, starring Jake Gyllenhaal in his Broadway debut and Tony-winning actress Annaleigh Ashford, is set for CD release today, December 8 via the Arts Music division at Warner Music Group.
