Vineyard Theatre is presenting the world-premiere production of THE BEAST IN THE JUNGLE- an original dance play by legendary composer and four-time Tony Award winner John Kander (CABARET, CHICAGO), Tony-nominated playwright David Thompson (STEEL PIER; FLORA, THE RED MENACE), and five-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman (THE PRODUCERS, CONTACT). THE BEAST IN THE JUNGLE will extend until through Sunday, June 24.

This week's final installment included a performance by the Broadway cast of Something Rotten!, including: Catherine Brunell, Will Chase, Josh Grisetti, Leslie Kritzer,Rob McClure, Andre Ward, Matt Allen, Max Clayton, Eric Giancola, David Hibbard, Jenny Hill,Leah Hofmann, Aaron Kaburick, Tari Kelly, Beth Johnson Nicely, Brian Olgilvie, Aleks Pevec,Eric Sciotto, and Marisha Wallace. BIG FISH, a new musical based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the 2003 Columbia Pictures film written by John August, just had its pre-Broadway world premiere at Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 West Randolph Street) in a limited 5-week engagement beginning performances on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, opening Friday, April 19, 2013, and playing through today, May 5, 2013.
