On May 21 of this year, BroadwayWorld threw a big party at Sony Hall in the heart of the theatre district, celebrating our 20th anniversary year online and in the community. It's an evening that I won't soon forget, and it all benefitted our longtime friends and collaborators at Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. And the venue itself, Sony Hall, couldn't have been nicer to us or more cooperative. 

Today we rewind to 2014, when Manhattan Concert Productions brought back Titanic. Titanic made its Broadway debut in 1997 to critical acclaim, winning five Tony Awards including the award for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and book by Peter Stone.

Michael Sterling, BroadwayWorld's LA On Air Host and Co-Producer for BWW TV and Jerry Evans of JLE Media in Los Angeles spent the day at rehearsal for Hollywood Bowl's upcoming, new production of Into the Woods.

More than 20 years after 'it started with a dream,' Pamela's First Musical will have its world premiere this fall at Two River Theater. The theater launches its 25th Anniversary Season with this long-awaited show, a valentine to the musical theater and a testament to its enduring power.

Saturday night, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, the 2nd Annual Kristi Awards took place, culminating the end of a week's work and training at the 4th year of Kristin Chenoweth's BROADWAY BOOTCAMP.

With a full orchestra led by Broadway musical supervisor and conductor Kevin Stites and lighting & sound design by Matt Berman, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to support this worthy company as they head into the future. Tonight, the TONY Award-winning score from Titanic: The Musical will be performed live at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, featuring almost the entire cast from the original Broadway musical, over 200 singers, and the enlarged forces of the professional New York City Chamber Orchestra. The production is directed by Don Stephenson, with Music Direction by Kevin Stites.
