As Little Steven looks back on his early solo career with the upcoming boxed set, RockNRoll Rebel – The Early Work, the creatively restless Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is simultaneously looking forward with a slew of new releases including a theatrical, Gene Kelly-inspired video for his song “Love Again” from his latest album, Summer Of Sorcery, and an exuberant live performance of Bruce Springsteen's “Tucson Train.” Leading up to the December 6 release of the boxed set, Little Steven aka Steven Van Zandt has been steadily releasing digital deluxe editions of the albums included over the last few weeks and today has made available his 1989 album, Revolution, which includes two rare mixes of the title track. 

In 2016, Derek Hough was set to star in a Broadway revival of Singin' In The Rain. However, later that year, BroadwayWorld reported that the production had been cancelled, due to lack of available theatres.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Stanley Donen, director of movie musicals such as Singin' In The Rain and On The Town, has died at age 94.

Reynolds' career began unexpectedly in 1948 when she won a beauty contest at the age of 16. Two of the contest judges were scouts from Warner Brothers and MGM. When they heard Reynolds' show-stopping rendition of Betty Hutton's 'I'm Just a Square in a Social Circle,' they took an interest in the talented singer.

Below, we invite you to remember the legend of stage and screen as she recalls how she 'fell into show business,' explains her love for old Hollywood, and reveals how one show saved her life.
