Singer/songwriter Josh Ritter and indie-folk duo The Milk Carton Kids have teamed up for an Amazon Original reimagined version of Ritter's song “Losing Battles.” Originally released on Ritter's latest album Fever Breaks, “Losing Battles” is available now only on Amazon Music. Tasmanian garage rock quartet A. Swayze & The Ghosts are excited to share the new single “Connect To Consume”, via Australian label Ivy League Records (home to Hatchie and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever among others). The single premiered today on Jack Saunders' 'Next Wave' BBC Radio 1 show, and is out now on all DSPs in tandem with a music video for the song. The latest offering from A. Few people seem to be familiar with Lerner & Loewe's Paint Your Wagon. Those who are usually mention the 1969 film of the same title, starring Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood, known for being a ridiculously miscast and embarrassingly terrible flop. The musical, which originally appeared on Broadway in 1951, is similarly messy, and has gone pretty much unproduced for decades. Fortunately, however, playwright Jon Marans has redrafted the book, top-to-bottom, enhancing both the story line and its characters, and the result is a shiny-new masterpiece with new orchestrations and new dance and vocal arrangements. It is now an entirely enjoyable musical, complex in its structure, with an interesting setting, compelling plot, nuanced layers, appropriate social commentary, and characters...

Hot off the heels of a whirlwind European festival run that saw the band headline major stages in the UK, Russia, Ukraine, and Czech Republic, and ahead of the West Coast leg of their headlining tour, FRANK IERO AND THE FUTURE VIOLENTS have just released a video for their song 'Great Party.' The song is a cut from their brand new record Barriers (released May 31, 2019 via UNFD). This is the second music video to be released from Barriers, following the video for lead single 'Young and Doomed' earlier this year.

Porter also discusses FX's Pose, the series he stars in, which premiered its second season on June 9.
