)BroadwayWorld TV's Los Angeles Producer and on-air Host Michael Sterling was on the red carpet getting up close and personal with the U.S. Touring Cast of Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of The Opera when they presented a one-night-only cabaret concert July 20, 2015 at the historic El Portal Theater in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood. The event, titled Oscar Unmasked, featured over 40 Academy Award-winning songs, and raised $10,000 for The Actors Fund and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The national tour will set sail in Cleveland on October 2nd, and BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was invited to meet with the cast while they were still in rehearsals in New York City. While he was there, he caught a special performance preview and chatted with the whole team about taking the classic show on the road.

Broadway's WONDERLAND played its final performance this Sunday, May 15 at 3pm at the Marquis Theatre in front of a packed house including many Broadway notables. The show played 31 previews and 33 regular performances. WONDERLAND began previews Monday, March 21 and opened Sunday, April 17. The production will play a National tour. As we first reported earlier, at the curtain call the show's love story mixed with real life, as Darren Ritchie, who played Jack the White Knight proposed to his co-star, Janet Dacal, who played Alice. Darren proposed to Janet on stage right after the curtain call with the entire audience in the house. Janet screamed 'I said yes!' In the audience, there were tears of joy mixed with the sadness for the show closing. Now, the first videos are making their way onto YouTube!
