The LA Phil's Hollywood Bowl production of A Chorus Line opening July 29 -31 for three performances has been in full tilt rehearsals since last week and BroadwayWorld's own Michael Sterling was there to talk to the stars and get a sneak peek at what audiences can expect on the legendary Hollywood Bowl's massive stage.

The much anticipated 2005 Tony Award-winning Best Musical - Monty Python's Spamalot - has finally arrived and is in rehearsal in Los Angeles for its July 31 - August 2, 2015 run at the historic Hollywood Bowl; and BroadwayWorld TV's own Michael Sterling was on hand to talk to the cast.

The Hollywood Bowl's production of the third longest running musical in Broadway history - CHICAGO - stars Samantha Barks as Velma, Drew Carey as Amos, Lucy Lawless as Mama Morton, Stephen Moyer as Billy Flynn, and Ashlee Simpson as Roxie Hart. The Production opened last night, July 26, and runs through July 28. The show is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher. Hernandez were on hand for a sneak peak at rehearsal's and one-one-one cast and creative team interviews last Friday, July 19 for The Hollywood Bowl's production of the third longest running musical in Broadway history – CHICAGO. The production stars Samantha Barks as Velma, Drew Carey as Amos, Lucy Lawless as Mama Morton, Stephen Moyer as Billy Flynn, and Ashlee Simpson as Roxie Hart. The Production will be presented July 26 – July 28, at the historic 17,000 seat venue and is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher.

CHICAGO has just announced that past American Idol judge and current Roxie, Kara DioGuardi will judge a new contest titled 'Cellblock Idol,' in which fans can sing their favorite CHICAGO tunes and submit them through Youtube. The winner of the contest will be awarded a dinner a B. Smiths, tickets to the show, and a special meeting with Ms. DioGuardi!
