The LA Phil's Hollywood Bowl production of A Chorus Line opening July 29 -31 for three performances has been in full tilt rehearsals since last week and BroadwayWorld's own Michael Sterling was there to talk to the stars and get a sneak peek at what audiences can expect on the legendary Hollywood Bowl's massive stage.

A Chorus Line is the groundbreaking show about life as a dancer auditioning for a Broadway musical; with its unforgettable score and riveting real-life story, it's the Hollywood Bowl's annual, fully staged production. From "I Hope I Get It" to "The Music and the Mirror" and "One," united by the iconic choreography of visionary Michael Bennett, A Chorus Line's music and message remain fresh and true, capturing the excitement and drama that all performers face, having chosen a life on the stage - in one thrilling sensation of a musical!

The Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of A Chorus Line stars Sabrina Bryan as Valerie Clark, Robert Fairchild as Mike Costa, Spencer Liff as Larry, Mario Lopez as Zach, and Ross Lynch as Mark Anthony. The cast also includes Sarah Bowden as Cassie Ferguson, Mara Davi as Maggie Winslow, Courtney Lopez as Kristine Ulrich, J. Elaine Marcos as Connie Wong, Krysta Rodriguez as DiAna Morales, Jason Tam as Paul San Marco, and Leigh Zimmerman as Sheila Bryant.

Rounding out the named roles are Cornelius Jones Jr. as Richie Walters, Denis Lambert as Gregory Gardner, Ian Liberto as Bob Mills lll, Tiana Okoye as Judy Turner, Michael Starr as Don Kerr, Justin Michael Wilcox as Al DeLuca, and Kelsey Walston as Bebe Benzenheimer. A Chorus Line will be conducted by Patrick Vaccariello.

The recent history of Broadway musicals at the Hollywood Bowl is nothing short of spectacular, including Spamalot starring Craig Robinson, Christian Slater, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Warwick Davis and Eric Idle, Hair starring Kristen Bell, Hunter Parrish, Beverly D'Angelo, Benjamin Walker and Amber Riley, directed by Adam Shankman; Chicago starring AshLee Simpson, Drew Carey, Lucy Lawless and Stephen Moyer, directed by Brooke Shields; The Producers starring Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Richard Kind, Rebecca Romijn and Dane Cook, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman; Hairspray starring Harvey Fierstein, Drew Carey, John Stamos and Nick Jonas, directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell; and Rent starring Vanessa Hudgens, Nicole Scherzinger and Wayne Brady, directed by Neil Patrick Harris.

A Chorus Line will have three performances at the Hollywood Bowl this summer - Friday, July 29, at 8 PM, Saturday, July 30, at 8 PM and Sunday, July 31, at 7:30 PM.
