This week, the 2019 Jimmy Awards nominees paid a visit to current Evan Hansen and former Jimmys winner, Andrew Barth Feldman, and the whole gang at Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway!

The Minskoff Theatre was the place to be last night, as the next generation of musical theatre talent strutted their stuff on a Broadway stage! The Jimmy Awards held their 11th annual ceremony and the best of Broadway came out to celebrate. BroadwayWorld is taking you inside the special night with host Ben Platt, last year's winners (and current Broadway stars) Andrew Barth Feldman and Renee Rapp, and even some of the evening's presenters!

This year's Stars in the Alley concert was held on May 10. Hosted by Alex Brightman, the celebration included performances and appearances by 2019 Tony Award-nominated performers including: Caitlin Kinnunen (The Prom), Sarah Stiles (Tootsie), as well as performances from 2019 Tony Award-nominated musicals including: Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations; Beetlejuice; Hadestown; Kiss Me, Kate; Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!; The Prom; and Tootsie.

Just last night, a record 80 high school students from across America took part in the Jimmy Awards to compete for Best Performance by an Actor and Actress, which went to Renee Rapp and Andrew Barth Feldman.
