The producers of the highly acclaimed UK tour of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em are delighted to announce the casting of Moray Treadwell as Mr Luscombe/Mr Worthington, David Shaw-Parker as Father O'Hara and Ben Watson as Desmond/Constable. They join the previously announced Joe Pasquale as the loveable but accident-prone Frank Spencer, Sarah Earnshaw as his long-suffering wife Betty and Susie Blake as his disapproving mother-in-law, Mrs Fisher. Also in the cast are Peter F Gardiner and Jayne Ashley.

On March 13, 2020, Amazon Prime Video will premiere Agatha Christie's The Pale Horse in the US. The bewitching two-part mystery stars Emmy and BAFTA-nominated actor, Rufus Sewell (The Man in the High Castle). BAFTA-nominated writer, Sarah Phelps, adapted the acclaimed 1961 novel for television and served as executive producer.

New Jersey Youth Symphony Presents Works By African American Women Composers At Princeton University

The New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS) presents a concert focused on women composers featuring five of its ensembles on Sunday, January 26 at 4:00pm at Princeton University's Richardson Auditorium (68 Nassau Street, Princeton). The NJYS Youth Symphony led by Helen H. Cha-Pyo, Youth Orchestra led by Simon Lipskar, Fortissimo Flutes led by Diana Charos-Reilly, and CL4tet and Clarinet Ensemble led by Bryan Rudderow will perform works by Yvonne Desportes and Ann Holler as well as Julia Perry's Short Piece for Large Orchestra and Florence Price's Symphony No. 3 in C minor. Freeform & Hulu Acquire Linear and Digital Rights to Three Feature Films From STXfilms

In advance of today's Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, Freeform and Hulu announce the acquisition of three hit films from STXfilms. The two Walt Disney Television entities struck a deal to license STXfilms' “Hustlers” and “The Upside,” each of which generated over $100 million during their North American theatrical run, as well as the STX hit comedy “I Feel Pretty,” which generated over $94 million worldwide. The films will simultaneously debut on Freeform and Hulu.

Huntington Theatre Company has announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere family comedy, Our Daughters, Like Pillars. Obie Award-winning playwright and Boston native Kirsten Greenidge (Luck of the Irish, Milk Like Sugar at the Huntington) joins forces with director Kimberly Senior (Sweat and The Niceties at the Huntington; Disgraced on Broadway) to tell the funny and moving story of one whirlwind weekend in the life of a contemporary black American family. Our Daughters, Like Pillars begins performances at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA (527 Tremont Street, Boston) on Friday, March 20, 2020 and will run through Sunday, April 19, 2020.
