 After online convenings in 2020 and 2021, the League of American Orchestras National Conference will take place in person again, hosted this year by the Los Angeles Philharmonic in partnership with the Association of California Symphony Orchestras (ACSO).

RCA Records drops Doja Cat’s melodic, bouncy new single “Vegas” from the ELVIS Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The soundtrack is set to be released the same date as Baz Luhrmann’s forthcoming film ELVIS, starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks. The track incorporates “Hound Dog” in a unique, singular way that only Doja Cat could ever do.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association today announced additional programming for the Hollywood Bowl 100 summer season, featuring a diverse array of emerging and established artists. Single tickets are now on sale for the entire milestone season celebrating the iconic venue's first 100 years.

 In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Getty Center, the Getty Trust and a diverse group of community partners are launching a 10-part series of free outdoor art festivals in neighborhoods across Los Angeles County from May 14 to August 28. Each festival, produced by Community Arts Resources (CARS), will be a unique reflection of the community in which it takes place.

ELVIS is an epic spectacle from filmmaker Baz Luhrmann that explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) through the prism of his relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks). The soundtrack features Elvis’s body of work spanning the 1950s, 60s and 70s, while also celebrating his diverse musical influences.

Music fans around the world will have the chance to see performances from Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Maren Morris, Brandi Carlile, Brothers Osborne, BRELAND, Orville Peck and so many more on this first ever livestream.

These legendary acts eventually made way for performers such as Reba McEntire, Shania Twain, and Faith Hill and present-day hitmakers Maren Morris, Yola, and Brandi Carlile. The exhibit celebrates a dynamic group of female songwriters and performers who come from diverse backgrounds and draw from a wide array of musical influences.

The single and video drop as the band were just announced for the Bourbon & Beyond Festival taking place in Louisville, KY September 15th through the 18th and are set to play on Sunday the 18th with Chris Stapleton, Marcus King, Yola, Madison Cunningham and more. Watch the music video for the new single now!

Bourbon & Beyond’s incredible headlining talent begins with Jack White and Alanis Morissette Thursday, September 15; followed by Kings of Leon and Brandi Carlile on Friday, September 16; Pearl Jam and Greta Van Fleet on Saturday, September 17; and a very special closing night Sunday, September 18 including Kentucky native Chris Stapleton.

Carlile will return to the road this summer with her extensive “Beyond These Silent Days” headline tour. Special guests featured on the tour include Allison Russell, Ani DiFranco, Brittany Howard, Celisse, Indigo Girls, Katie Pruitt, Lake Street Dive, Lucius, Sarah McLachlan, Brittney Spencer, Tanya Tucker and Yola, with more names to be announced.

New Music USA's Amplifying Voices program, which fosters collaboration toward racial and gender equity in new orchestral music, has over thirty orchestras from across the United States signed up to premiere new works co-commissioned from nine of today's leading composers: Valerie Coleman, Juan Pablo Contreras, Vijay Iyer, Tania León, Jessie Montgomery, Brian Raphael Nabors, Nina Shekhar, Tyshawn Sorey, and Shelley Washington.

LA-based singer/songwriter Teddy Grossman has released his highly anticipated debut album Soon Come, which was a lifetime in the making. Although a lifelong music lover and maker, pursuing a career in music was put on the back burner. After a decade of his own music playing second fiddle to the life of a traveling salesman, Grossman picked up everything and moved to Los Angeles, where he soon began recording what would become, Soon Come, leaving behind his job and former life along the way. 

The first single, “Wild Child,” is out today along with a video directed by the band’s longtime collaborator Bryan Schlam. Dropout Boogie features collaborations with Billy F.
