 Legendary performers Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt have teamed up again to present a delightful evening of genre-bending delight, fusing the sounds of country, swing, jazz, folk and gospel in An Acoustic Evening with Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt, a sold-out performance on Friday, Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. in Capitol Theater.

Loretta Lynn, the real-life coal miner’s daughter turned singer-songwriter whose authenticity, toughness and larger-than-life story inspired generations of female musicians and turned the turmoil, troubles and universal themes of everyday life to an art form, passed away on,  October 4.

The Boch Center has re-introduced the Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame (FARHOF), an education initiative located inside the iconic Wang Theatre in Boston.

Ann Kittredge will return to The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street – between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Sunday, October 23rd at 7pm with her Musical Director Christopher Denny (piano), Sean Harkness (guitar), Mary Ann McSweeney (bass), Rex Benincasa(drums) and special guests Robbie Kondor and Steve Ross.

On Monday, September 19, pianist/singer Billy Stritch and award-winning jazz vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli combined their considerable talents for an evening of great music celebrating the legendary Mel Tormé and Ella Fitzgerald.

The York Theatre Company will present a limited engagement of Love Online, a cabaret conceived and scripted by Diane Love, featuring songs from Broadway to Country. Love Online has two performances on Wednesday October 19 and November 2. All performances are at 7PM with doors opening at 6PM at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

Fleet will be hitting Bristol, Tenn. and Macon, Ga. in early November with opener Shelby Darrall. Fresh off his first weekend of the headline stint in the heart of the Midwest, Fleet is flying high touting packed out nights in Omaha, Neb., and Bloomington, Ill., and a sold-out show in Des Moines, Iowa.

For Golden Days, Sam Himself reunited with his longtime producer and ‘Second Beatle’, Daniel Schlett (Iggy Pop; The War on Drugs), whose mis was mastered by Greg Calbi (David Bowie; Bruce Springsteen). Sam’s studio collaborator of many years, bass player JD Werner (Ghostface Killah; Lee “Scratch” Perry), added to the musical composition.

100 years to the day, Mayor Sokhary Chau and members of the Lowell City Council, and the Lowell Memorial Auditorium Board of Trustees will welcome the public to a Centennial Celebration and Rededication of the historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

The Royal Conservatory of Music will open its doors to audiences for the first full concert season since March of 2020.

John Fogerty will kick off Lowell Memorial Auditorium’s Centennial Season on Thursday, September 8th at 7:30pm. Built shortly after the end of World War I to honor Lowell’s veterans of all wars, the Lowell Memorial Auditorium celebrates its centennial this fall, continuing a century-long tradition as a hub of arts and entertainment.
