King's Head Theatre and Making Productions are pleased to announce casting for Robert Chesley's play Jerker, which returns to London for the first time in 29 years. Tibu Fortes will play Bert and Tom Joyner will play J R, directed by Ben Anderson. Jerker runs at the Kings Head Theatre between 30 October and 23 November 2019 (press night Friday 1 November).

Durango PlayFest today announced a cast of 11 New York- and Los Angeles-based actors who will headline four plays being developed at its new works festival. Durango Playfest today announced the four plays that will headline its new works festival, as well as other special events planned for the August 4-10, 2019 program. PlayFest, which debuted last year, brings top-tier playwrights, directors and actors to Durango to incubate new plays, hold workshops for the community, and culminate the week with staged readings.

High Tides is the second album by  Constance Hauman. Her critically acclaimed recording, Falling Into Now, made The Guardian's list of the 10 Best Albums of 2015. High Tides features eight new songs written by Hauman and two covers, Everlong by Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Les Chemins de l'Amour by French composer, Francis Poulenc. High Tides was produced by Constance Hauman and Ross Pederson - who was also the recording and mix engineer and performs throughout the album on drums, bass and midi.

Book-It Repertory Theatre will open its 2018-2019 season with Jane Eyre. Called the 'first historian of the private consciousness', author Charlotte Bronte explores classism, sexuality, and female expression in this Gothic mystery. Julie Beckman adapted and directed Jane Eyre for Book-It in 2001 and will direct the 2018 production.
