A funny and poignant new musical by award-winning playwright Tim Firth receives its world premiere at Storyhouse this spring and the full cast has now been revealed. 

Clamour Theatre today announce Stephanie Martin's Juniper and Jules at Soho Theatre following a successful run at VAULT Festival in 2019. Bethany Pitts directs Gabriella Schmidt (Jules) and Stella Taylor (Juniper) who return to their respective roles.

Kiln Theatre's Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham announces the full company for Chinonyerem Odimba's Black Love. Black Love launches the theatre's 2022 season, transforming the venue into the round. With Book and Lyrics by Chinonyerem Odimba, Music by Ben and Max Ringham, the production opens on 1 April with previews from 28 March and runs until 23 April, following a successful tour as part of Paines Plough's Roundabout season last year.

An extension to booking has been announced for the Olivier award-winning production of Mary Poppins with tickets now on sale until 10 July 2022 at the Prince Edward Theatre. 

Shakespeare’s Globe has announced the full cast for the 2022 Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank production of Macbeth, directed by Sarah Frankcom. This marks Sarah’s directorial return following her tenure as Artistic Director of LAMDA. 

Today Nottingham Playhouse announces the full cast of Simon Reade's adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's award winning First World War novel Private Peaceful.

Hannah Waddingham joined Michael Bublé for a performance of 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)' on his recent Christmas in the City NBC special. Michael Bublé's Christmas in the City presented a mix of comedy, music and, the spirit of Christmas, all from Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Bublé's Christmas album.

Pioneering arts leader Paul Crewes, who has served since 2015 as the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' first Artistic Director, steps down from his position at the end of this year and transitions to a new role as Artistic Advisor for the balance of The Wallis' 2021-2022 Season, it was announced by Michael Nemeroff, Chairman of the Board.

The cast includes Elise Zavou as Red, Maisey Bawden as Mum, Phil Nichol as Granny, Jodie Jacobs as Woody, Ashley Goh as Bo Peep, Raphael Bushay as Wolf and Luke Latchman as Wolfie.

In a reimagined iteration of the annual awards, in partnership with ETT (English Touring Theatre), the audio productions will play from free listening stations or via a QR code in theatres across the UK, with copies of the scripts including braille translations available.

Just last night, West End actress turned television's favorite new star, Hannah Waddingham, accepted her first Emmy Award for her outstanding performance as Rebecca Welton on Ted Lasso. In her speech, she gave a shoutout to her fellow stage performers. 'West End musical theatre performers need to be onscreen more,' she cried. 'Please then a chance, because we won't let you down!'
