Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is currently in previews in London's West End at the Palace Theatre, where it will open on July 30. Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornily lead the cast as Harry, Hermione and Ron, as part of a company of 42 talented actors. The Everyman & Playhouse to Present THE STAR

A new entertainment by Michael Wynne, The Star, will mark Liverpool Playhouse's 150th anniversary this Christmas in honour of its origins as a Music Hall venue. Directed by Philip Wilson, the production will feature Michael Starke. At the Everyman Associate Director Nick Bagnall's effervescent take on The Two Gentlemen of Verona sets the action in a colourful and musical 1960s. Desmond Barrit will appear alongside Maggie Steed as Mrs Malaprop in Sheridan's elegant comedy of manners The Rivals at the Playhouse.

Immersion Theatre today announced lead casting for their Autumn 2016 tour of R.C. Sherriff's Journey's End. Tom Grace (The Ilyiad, Labyrinth) will play Stanhope, and will be joined by Matt Ray Brown (1984, Ghosts) as Osborne and Rory Fairbairn (Madame X, Blackout) as Raleigh.

Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Sets 76th Annual Festival Concert

After a truly inspiring year of music education and performance, the curtain will soon rise on the final concert of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's 2015-16 season, marking the organization's 76th Anniversary. The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra 76th Annual Festival Concert will feature performances by PYO's students, ages 14-21, and special guest performances by Philadelphia's foremost organist Peter Richard Conte and Bravo Brass Alum and Euphonium soloist Joel Collier. The concert will take place on Sunday, June 5, at 4:00 p.m., in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.

Following on from his previous work Constellations, which won the Evening Standard Award for Best Play, Payne's plot focuses on Lorna and her partner Carrie as they struggle with an unnamed disease which effects Lorna's brain.
