Something magical is happening at Shea's 710 Theatre. And it's a joy to report that the local talent onstage is simply astounding. Along with the Ujima Theatre Company and Second Generation Theatre, Shea's is producing a spine-tingling production of the musical THE COLOR PURPLE.

Sadler’s Wells' production of Message In A Bottle, the acclaimed dance theatre show by Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Kate Prince, set to the music of 17-time Grammy Award-winning icon Sting, will embark on a major 10-stop North American tour in 2024. 

Compelling from start to finish, the production infuses the company with a vibrancy that oftentimes was lacking in previous seasons. The result is the first must-see production of the fall theater season.

New photos from the upcoming movie musical adaptation of The Color Purple has been released. The new photos feature stills from the film, as well as behind-the-scenes shots of Bazawule directing cast members like Taraji P. Henson and Fantasia Barrino. They also feature Danielle Brooks, Corey Hawkins, and more.

“Diamond Therapy,” featuring rapper, singer and producer Channel Tres, has been released via Diplo’s own Higher Ground imprint. Following his country album Diplo Present Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2—Swamp Savant from earlier this year, Diplo’s focus returns to his house music imprint Higher Ground with “Diamond Therapy.”
