The short film 'Restless' which is written, produced and directed by Ela Acur has been accepted by the Big Apple Film Festival.

Jimmy Tingle's 20/20 Vision will play 10 performances only at The Broadway Comedy Club (318 West 53rd Street) from November 10- December 23. Tectonic Theater Project members and co-creators of the national #HereToo Project, Barbara Pitts McAdams and Jimmy Maize will work with B.A. Theatre students during a two-week residency, Nov. 3 to 15, on the creation of their national project exploring the subject of gun violence.

Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director), will extend their acclaimed production of Idris Goodwin's Bars and Measures, directed by Kristan Seemel. David Williamson at his angry best in a new play set to open Griffin's 2020 Season. In 2020, Griffin Theatre Company will open the year with a new play from David Williamson, Family Values, a blackly comic drama examining Australia's inept response to the refugee crisis, directed by Lee Lewis and starring Andrew McFarlane.

Block Party 2020 will remount Sacred Fools Theater Company's a?oeThe Art Couplea?? and IAMA Theatre Company's a?oeCanyon.a?? The visiting companies will receive the full support of Center Theatre Group and its staff in order to fund, stage and market each production.

The Grammy-nominated Western Wind Vocal Sextet will present 'Home For The Holidays - from Darkness to Light' on Sunday, December 8 at 7:00 PM Church of St. Luke in the Field, 487 Hudson Street, NYC (West Village). The concert celebrates Christmas and Chanukah with a rich assortment of holiday music. It is the first NYC mainstage event for the sextet's 'new' ensemble, which includes three new members. Organized by themes such as 'The Coming of Light,' 'Miracles,' 'Holiday Messages' and 'Food & Fun,' the program explores the deeper meaning of the stories, rituals and festivities of these two winter holidays.

Penny Lane Centers proudly hosts their 11th Annual EDGY Conference; a one day conference increasing awareness and cultural competency, highlighting current and emerging best practices, as well as providing resources from leading experts and organizations to create a more supportive environment for LGBTQ+ youth and families. Bette Davis and John Wayne to Bo Diddley and Bob Dylan, the State Theatre in Portland has seen its share of stars since it first opened its doors on November 8, 1929. On Friday, November 8, 2019, the theatre will kick off a celebration of its 90th birthday with a week-long scavenger hunt around Portland with ticket and merchandise giveaways to mark the historic occasion. Details will be available via the State Theatre pages on Facebook and Instagram. Additional special events will be planned for November and December.

Trinity Rep closed its sold-out, record-breaking production of the world premiere play The Prince of Providence on October 27, after an extended seven-week run. The play was written by George Brant, based on the New York Times bestseller of the same name by Mike Stanton, and was directed by Taibi Magar. It covered the rise and fall of Providence's former mayor, Vincent A. a?oeBuddya?? Cianci. Prior to its Opening Night on September 16, the show became the highest-grossing, non-holiday production in the organization's 56-year history, breaking the record set by My Fair Lady in 2000. More than 13,000 people saw the show in Trinity Rep's intimate 250-seat Dowling Theater.

Vocalist, producer and rapper Vincent Barrea has released his new single 'Chemical or Love' on 31 October via Maitre Music. Barrea has seen considerable success with his last two outputs.
