Dana Al Fardan, one of the Middle East’s leading contemporary composers, and West End star Nadim Naaman today announce that their second major stage musical, ‘Rumi: The Musical’ will get its world premiere at the London Coliseum in  November 2021.

The season will feature Shakespeare's Measure for Measure directed by Blanche McIntyre, Hamlet directed by Sean Holmes, The Merchant of Venice directed by Abigail Graham, and a festive reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen's The Fir Tree written by Hannah Khalil. Alongside productions in the Playhouse, there will also be two week-long festivals (including the return of Shakespeare and Race) and half-term events for families.

Over the past six months leading UK touring theatre company Stockroom has been working with theatre freelancers across the country to produce six extraordinary films that chart the common experiences of non-salaried theatre workers during the pandemic.
