Broadway Barks, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, took place yesterday, Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Shubert Alley.

Broadway Barks returns in just a few weeks, and the lineup of stars in attendance has just been announced.

The Actors Fund announced today that The Boys in the Band has added a Special Midnight Performance for The Actors Fund. This benefit performance will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:59 pm at the Booth Theatre.

The 20th Annual Broadway Barks, the star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies, will feature celebrities from the hottest shows currently on Broadway. Just announced to join the event are: Aaron De Jesus (Jersey Boys), Katrina Lenk (The Band's Visit), Storm Lever (Summer: The Donna Summer Musical)

BroadwayWorld has teamed up with renowned caricature artist Ken Fallin, a life-long theater enthusiast, who has drawn many Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. A younger playgoer knowing nothing about Mart Crowley's classic 1968 Off-Broadway comedy/drama The Boys in the Band except, perhaps, that its original run is regarded as an important landmark in depicting gay men on stage, might be shocked to witness the happenings these days at the Booth Theatre, which now houses the piece's premiere Broadway production.

The Booth Theatre was the place to be last night as the company of The Boys in the Band, directed by Joe Mantello and produced by Ryan Murphy and David Stone, celebrated the play's 50th anniversary ahead of its official opening tonight, May 31. We're taking you inside the festivities below!

Kathie Lee, Hoda and John Cena welcome actors Zacahry Quinto, Matt Bomer and Andrew Rannells, who in addition to being friends are co-stars in the 50th anniversary edition of "The Boys in the Band," the groundbreaking play about a group of gay men who gather for a friend's birthday party. "To get to do it with these guys is just a dream," Bomer says.

Due to a minor cast member injury, The Boys in the Band has canceled its performance this evening.

Edward Albee's Three Tall Women will play a special Midnight Performance as a benefit for The Actors Fund. The production, directed by Joe Mantello, opened on Broadway on March 29 to ecstatic reviews. Last week, Mantello's production of The Boys in the Band started previews on Broadway. To celebrate their director and the vital work of The Actors Fund, the entire cast of The Boys in the Band will host the Midnight Performance of Three Tall Women,
