Broadway favorite 'The Prom' is coming to Netflix in a new film adaptation from Ryan Murphy! 

The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards were held virtually last night, and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Swan Song, a comedy by Liverpool playwright Jonathan Harvey, will open a brand-new theatre festival in the city next week marking the return of live outdoor performance.

This one-night-only benefit concert celebrates the legacy, mission, and spirit of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and supports the school's commitment to return to free tuition for all undergraduate students.

The Philly POPS starts the new year with a tip of the hat to one of Broadway's greatest luminaries, Marvin Hamlisch, conducted by Marvin's mentee and friend, Music Director Todd Ellison, January 17-19, 2020. Colin Callender's Tony and Golden Globe award-winning production company Playground (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Lucky Guy) today announces its expansion into immersive theatre with its support of WITNESS, a new theatre company created and led by Artistic Director Michael Bontatibus, former creative executive at Playground. Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of the comedy/drama, a?oeVisiting Mr. Greena?? by Jeff Baron, on Monday, November 18, at 7 p.m. The cast includes Tim Jerome as Mr. Green and Charles Socarides as Ross Gardiner. The reading will be directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.

The Tribeca TV Festival will return September 12-15 for its third edition.The lineup is a showcase of new series debuts, new episodes from fan favorites, talks with creators and stars, and one-night-only events that can only be seen at Tribeca. With production underway, FX today shared a first look at the cast of the upcoming FX limited series Mrs. America. The images from unit photography were revealed by John Landgraf, Chairman, FX Networks and FX Production, during the Executive Session of FX Networks' presentation to the Television Critics Association.

Today, the Philly POPS officially welcomes Broadway legend Todd Ellison as Music Director of the 2019-2020 TOPS of the POPS season. Likewise, the POPS welcomes its new Artistic Director for Jazz, world-renowned trumpet player Terell Stafford.
