10 Hairy Legs, the male repertory dance company, holds its 7th consecutive New York Season with a return to New York Live Arts June 27-29. Presented are World Premieres by Larry Keigwin entitled Cruise Control and Adam Barruch. Barruch's work, entitled Heist will have a newly composed score by Roarke Menzies.

From popular contemporary hits, classic jazz standards, orchestrations written for Gregg by the late Maestro Tommy Tycho and original songs written by Gregg, this show has something for everyone to enjoy.

In celebration of his 100th birthday, jazz favorites and vocal legends Clint Holmes and Billy Stritch will pay tribute to the unforgettable Nat "King" Cole with their new show, Straighten Up and Fly Right-The Music of Nat "King" Cole, at Feinstein's at the Nikko on Thursday, July 18 at 8 p.m. and Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m. Joined by musical director Christian Tamburr and his trio, longtime friends Clint and Billy will combine their musical talents to perform many of the timeless hits made famous by the master himself, including "Route 66," "Mona Lisa," and "Nature Boy." Hear the music. Save the world. The non-profit humanitarian organization TEEEM.org presents Bergenfest, a benefit concert run by students that is full of music and fun for the family. TEEEM works with Bergen County high school students to provide medical care, economic empowerment, food and education to communities in in the developing world. Headlining the concert will be We McDonald of Paterson, NJ, who drew national attention on NBC's The Voice along with local bands playing throughout the day. Bergenfest will be held at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School, 335 North Van Dien Avenue in Ridgewood NJ on Saturday June 29th, from 12-7pm. There will be food trucks, games, arts and crafts and face painting. It is a day of fun for the whole family. Tickets can be purchased online at http:teeem.org. Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) presents a full lineup of events for its 25th Anniversary season, ranging from world renowned headliners such as Tony Bennett and Audra McDonald to touring Broadway productions including RENT to the best in dance, comedy, classical, world music and family shows.

For her 4th CD release, vocalist/violinist Calabria Foti wanted to do an album like her vocal heroes Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Judy Garland, and Nat “King” Cole did back in the day; that is, with a big orchestra and legendary arrangers on the podium in an iconic Hollywood recording studio. Ms. Foti says, “This is the most expansive project I have ever done, and at the same time, it's the most intimate and personal. I recorded at Capitol Records with a full orchestra, singing some of the most endearing, sentimental songs ever written, all for my loved ones. This album is a full-production tear-jerker!”

A prominent family from one of the most Italian towns in America received a national honor from the Sons of Italy Foundation. The Foundation is affiliated with the Order of Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, the largest and oldest Italian American organization in the United States. The Frank and Angela Donio Family has dedicated their lives to involvement in charitable and civic organizations, their efforts have made an indelible impact on the communities they serve. The members of the family who were honored are Frank G. Donio (Posthumously), Angela L. Donio, Fr. Frank S. Donio, S.A.C., John S. Donio and James M. Donio, who co-founded the Eagle Theatre.

The Fountain Hills Theater in cooperation with Act Two Productions will present Legends of Song, an amazing one-man tribute to 10 great American singers, on Sunday, June 30th and Monday, July 1 at 7:00pm.  

For his starring role in Netflix's groundbreaking first original series, Lilyhammer, actor/musician Steven Van Zandt explored uncharted waters as a New York mobster who flees to Norway under the witness protection program. In addition to acting in, co-writing and co-producing the acclaimed show, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer also scored the music for most of the three seasons, where just like his character, the musician best known as Little Steven of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and an accomplished solo artist who helped pioneer the rock-meets-soul sound, also delved into some terrain foreign to him: the worlds of New York jazz and Norwegian folk music.

JOHN MILLER - the singer, bassist and Broadway Music Coordinator - will release a special 10th Anniversary Edition of his acclaimed album Stage Door Johnny: John Miller - Takes on Broadway on June 21, 2019. State Theatre New Jersey will honor MetLife and Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. at the 2019 State Theatre Benefit Gala on Saturday, June 1, 2019 featuring Tony and Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater and pianist Bill Charlap.

Over the last ten years, Sol Dance Center has become the most diverse dance studio in Astoria, and has not only managed to survive the turnover of shops on Steinway Street but has doubled in size since they opened in 2009. The studio, which was founded upon the Latin and Classical roots of owner, Karla Choko, now offers over 10 styles of dance for children and adults including Belly Dance, Heels, Hip-Hop, Flow Arts as well as private lessons, wedding choreography and space rentals. To celebrate their success, the team at Sol Dance Center is hosting a special version of their yearly showcase on June 22, 2019 at the 800-seat Tony Bennett Concert Hall at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts titled 'Dancesanity: Creative Consciousness'.

The event raised over $1.4 Million dollars to help provide arts education to children around the country.
