Stockroom Teams Up With Four Major UK Regional Theatres For Three World Premieres In 2023

UK's writers' room for theatre, Stockroom confirms a slate of three new productions for 2023, which sees it team up with four leading venues across the UK.  These productions constitute part of the company's previously announced evolution to focus on writer and script development and follows its recent loss of Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation status.

The 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards Will Be Presented in October

 Broadway Black presents The 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards, which honors Black theatre artists during the 2021-2022 season. The live, in-person ceremony will be held on Monday, October 10 at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem (253 West 125th Street). Awards in 29 competitive categories and five honorary categories will be presented along with performances and guest appearances. 

Brixton House Theatre Presents MUGABE, MY DAD AND ME

Brixton House will open its doors to the public on the 24th February 2022 with two international shows and a taster programme of activities until 5th March when the venue will open all areas including its café, bar and hire studios.

UK Tour of Tonderai Munyevu's MUGABE, MY DAD & ME Announced

The autobiographical play about growing up in 1980’s Zimbabwe following independence opens at Brixton House on 17 February, with previews from 15 February, and runs until 6 March. It then tours to Scarborough, Oundle and Oxford before concluding in Edinburgh, 23 - 26 March 2022.

MUGABE & ME Will Be Performed at York Theatre Royal Next Month

The autobiographical play about growing up in 1980's Zimbabwe following independence opens at York Theatre Royal on 14 September, with previews from 9 September, until 18 September, with tour dates for 2022 to be announced.
