Girl From The North Country, nominated yesterday for 7 Tony Awards including Best Musical, just released a new video that chronicles their journey on Broadway.

Today, it was announced that the North American Tour of the acclaimed Girl From The North Country, nominated for 7 Tony Awards including Best Musical, will have its technical rehearsals and tour premiere at Hennepin Theatre Trust's historic Orpheum Theatre in the Fall of 2023. 

Girl From the North Country has officially set its Broadway return dates! The musical, which temporarily closed on January 23 with the promise of returning this spring, will return for a limited engagement, April 29-June 11 at the Belasco Theatre.

Today, January 23, Broadway says goodbye to two beloved productions. Slave Play will conclude its limited run at the August Wilson Theatre following 9 previews and 58 regular performances; and Girl from the North Country pauses performances at the Belasco Theatre following 31 previews and 117 regular performances.

The Broadway cast of Girl From The North Country recently celebrated their 2022 Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theater Album and the holiday season with 1067LiteFM's Christine Nagy. The cast got together to spread some holiday cheer with an outdoor performance of 'Winter Wonderland.'

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Girl From the North Country was among the nominees for the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.
