On Sunday Aug, 20th The Marvelous Wonderettes, currently playing Off-Broadway at Theatre Row, bid adieu to long time cast member Ryann Redmond and original cast member Sally Schwab. This week the production welcomes two new cast members to Springfield High School.
On May 23rd, 2017 NEWSical The Musical, the 14th longest running Off-Broadway show and 4th longest running musical revue in history, will be celebrating its 2500th performance at Theatre Row.
Real-life NYC public high school history teacher Sally Schwab is pulling triple stage duty this spring, continuing her roles as Betty Jean in off-Broadway's The Marvelous Wonderettes and the female swing in NEWSical the Musical and now starring in her own show, Adventures in Babysitting.

???????The Marvelous Wonderettes is thrilled to welcome its original "Wonderstudy", Laura Woyasz, back to the production. Woyasz will be taking on the role of Missy Miller full time replacing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory bound Kristy Cates. Woyasz was last seen in the tour of Cheers Live on Stage as well as the Broadway company of Wicked as Glinda.
At the Wednesday, Sept 22nd matinee of The Marvelous Wonderettes, producers Tom and Michael D'Angora will be celebrating the show's 100th performance by welcoming Kristy Cates to the company! Cates is joining the production in the role of Missy Miller who belts out 'You Don't Own Me', 'Wedding Bell Blues', and 'Mr. Lee' among other classic 50's and 60's pop hits.

Producer/Directors Tom and Michael D'Angora were welcomed American Idol and Hairspray alum Diana Degarmo to The Marvelous Wonderettes, whose official opening was Thursday, June 2nd. For her opening night performance, DeGarmo was joined onstage with a surprise cameo from her husband, former Idol alum and star of Broadway's Hair, Ace Young, as the audience participant, Mr Lee. The show celebrated with friends and Broadway stars afterwards at Oovina Latin Kitchen and Wine Bar.

The Marvelous Wonderettes are back! Producers Tom and Michael D'Angora are bringing the long running Off-Broadway hit musical to New York's Theatre Row this spring. The production, which features such classic 50's and 60's hits such as "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Stupid Cupid," "Son of a Preacher Man," "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me," and "It's My Party," will feature two time Drama Desk nominee and Youtube sensation Christina Bianco and Emmy Award nominee Kathy Brier. Additional casting and creative team will be announced early next year.

What better way to celebrate flag day than with a patriotic concert delivered by some of Broadway's biggest belters? Stars from the Broadway community have lined up for a star studded fundraiser to support the Hillary Clinton Presidential campaign.
NEWSical The Musical producer Tom D'Angora, who was very active in Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign, is back on the campaign trail - this time with a little support from the cast of NEWsical! In a new youtube video the cast of NEWSical, with their celebrity impressions, help D'Angora with his fundraising efforts. The video features Christine Pedi (Chicago, Sirius Radio Broadway host), Michael West (When Pigs Fly), Taylor Crousore (Forbidden Broadway), and Meg Lanzarone. Check it out below!
“Joan Rivers loved Broadway and we loved her. Due to the outpouring of love and respect for Joan Rivers from our community and from her friends and fans worldwide, the marquees of Broadway theatres in New York will be dimmed in her memory tonight, at exactly 6:45pm for one minute.”
Now, the list is up to 10 theatres, with the Roundabout Theatre Company announcing that its three theatres (The American Airlines, Studio 54 and the Stephen Sondheim Theatre) will dim their lights as well.
