The men of Broadway’s TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL recently reunited (safely) for a photo shoot with photographer Andrew Werner, which was spearheaded by company member Sheldon Henry. This marked the first time that they've gathered since Broadway shuttered in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

March 12, 2020 is a date that will stick out in our memories for a long time. Concerns grew quickly over the coronavirus outbreak-- stars and fans stopped going to stage doors, matinees started to get cancelled-- and once the news of a full Broadway shutdown was announced, everything seemed to stop in its tracks.

Voting for the Tony Awards has officially begun. There are 778 Tony voters, but because voters can only cast ballots in categories in which they’ve seen all the nominees, and the pandemic prevented any spring theatergoing, there are fewer qualified voters than in a typical year.
